Academic Industry Meeting day, or AIMday™, is an internationally recognized opportunity to tackle questions around a central theme. This highly effective program enables university-based researchers and organizations to connect and bring world-class research to life. By matching an organization’s need for new knowledge with academic expertise, AIMday brings understanding and new perspectives to real-world problems!
Hosted by Toronto Metropolitan University and in collaboration with the Ontario Water Consortium, AIMday™ Water will take place virtually on November 24, 2022.
AIMday™ Water is an opportunity for you to:
– Explore solutions to your organization’s challenges and questions.
– Cultivate organization/academic collaborations for maximum real-world impact.
– Access state-of-the-art knowledge, ideas, technology and insights.
Here’s what you need to know:
1) It all starts with a single question or challenge – submitted by you.
2) Each question is then tackled by a panel of academic experts with the aim of finding a pathway to a solution.
3) The tried and tested AIMday™ format − one question, one hour – allows for the group of world-class researchers to discuss your challenge in an engaging, timely and productive manner.
4) To participate, your organization will need to submit a research question or challenge by October 7, 2022.
The event is free of charge to organizations that have submitted a research question or challenge.
For more information on the event, please visit the official AIMday™ Water website and review the event overview.
We encourage you to share this opportunity with anyone in your organization that may be interested in submitting a research question or challenge!
We are also happy to schedule a call to discuss this program further and help develop your research question(s) or challenge(s)!
