SOWC’s Advancing Water Technologies (AWT) program is funded by the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario.
Amendments to the Program Guidelines now allow eligible southern Ontario companies to undertake more than one AWT project. Projects may also be more than 12 months, with applicable deadlines for Intake Form submission (see below). Applications for Large Projects (AWT contribution of more than $100,000) will also be considered, with additional requirements.
All other AWT Program eligibility criteria and requirements continue to apply; please refer to the AWT Program Guidelines and the Addendum for Large Projects (if applicable).
Deadlines for Applications for AWT
AWT is a three-year program ending on 31 December, 2018. For applicants seeking projects of 2 years duration, the deadline for a complete submission has now passed. For applicants seeking projects up to 18 months duration, an Intake Form must be submitted by March 1, 2017. For applicants seeking projects up to 12 months duration, an Intake Form must be submitted by September 1, 2017.
